Donation and community support guidelines
BWA is proud to support initiatives that reflect our values, community spirit, and commitment to national development in The Bahamas.
1. Eligibility
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a registered non-profit, community organization, or public institution in The Bahamas.
- Submit a written request at least 4 weeks in advance.
- Demonstrate clear community benefit.
- Provide proof of usage if requested.
2. Exclusions
BWA cannot support:
- Individuals seeking personal, medical, or travel-related assistance.
- Political activities.
- Projects conflicting with BWA policies.
4. Review and approval
- Reviewed monthly by the Donations Committee.
- Evaluated on impact, alignment, history, and budget.
- Applicants receive an email response within 30 days.
Submit your request
Email the request to community@bahamaswholesale.com, or drop it off at the Nassau or Freeport office addressed to the Donations Committee.

State whether you are requesting cash or goods.
Community impact and recognition plan
The benefit delivered and how BWA would be acknowledged.
Product donations are more likely to be approved, as financial sponsorships are very limited.
